College Goals

The College of Biotechnology was established as one of the colleges of Al-Qadisiyah University according to the Ministerial Order No. (Q/5/1266) dated 5/4/2014, with two departments: the Department of Medical Biotechnology and the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology. The college follows the semester system for the four-year study period. It is one of the colleges of Al-Qadisiyah University. The newly established specialized scientific colleges in Iraq in particular and the world in general, as their establishment was one of the most important scientific steps of the presidency of Al-Qadisiyah University, which aspires to development in all modern fields, especially the great progress that has occurred recently regarding scientific research on biotechnology in the research, scientific and industrial fields.
The college’s location became in the former College of Arts building until the site designated for the college was prepared, as the academic year 2014-2015 was the first academic year to begin initial studies there. The duration of study in the college is four years as the college follows the semester system, and (103) students were accepted. With a total ranging between (563-657) in the first year and (103) students with a total of (577-658) in the second year.

In the name of the educational and administrative staff at Al-Qadisiyah University, I congratulate our honorable students for their graduation for the past year. Let us welcome the new year with an auspicious return to attendance, which restores the academic scene to its realistic splendor and effectiveness with serious participation in creating a future full of knowledge and glory. At a time when our University of Glory crowned its annual march with its thirty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of its sober scientific edifice last year… We would like to remind you that this great edifice would not have reached this lofty status had it not been for the efforts of the pioneering professors, the living among them, and the departed beside their Lord, leaders, professors, and associates.

Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the best prayers and peace be upon the master of the prophets and messengers, our master, our prophet, and our intercessor, Muhammad, and his good and pure family and his noble companions.
Today, the Our college in Al-Qadisiyah University, is taking rapid steps at all levels: scientific, educational, and providing services to the community… And the website of our college in its new look is a cause for pride and honor because we found in it the framing of the positive aspects and the horizontal and vertical progress in the college and the university as a result of the concerted efforts of the college’s affiliates, professors, employees, and students… Those efforts that yielded good fruits are referred to as Lebanon
I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Center for Computer and Internet Services in the Presidency of the University and to the Director of the website in the college for their wonderful efforts, which indicated their true affiliation to their university, their college and our country, Iraq….
My thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to providing the site with the various activities of the branches, divisions, and administrative and service units.
