The College of Biotechnology at Al-Qadisiyah University held a course entitled Diagnostic methods for intestinal parasites by asst lecturer Marwa Jabbar.

The course included an explanation of the most important appropriate diagnostic techniques that are important in combating intestinal parasites. The lecture also explained that these techniques enable doctors to accurately identify the parasite causing the infection and help in choosing the appropriate treatment. They also help in monitoring the effectiveness of treatment and identifying recurrent infections.
The course aimed to identify modern techniques in laboratory diagnosis for early detection of intestinal parasitic infections and to determine the type of parasite to choose the appropriate treatment to shorten time and overcome some challenges by developing laboratory infrastructure and continuous training programs for specialized personnel to improve the quality and speed of diagnosis.
